Founded in 1859, RGYC has a long legacy of bringing together sailing enthusiasts and hosting world-class events like the famous Festival of Sails. It’s a place where community, competition, and passion for the water come together – and they needed a website that reflected just that.
Residency Studios was honoured to partner with the prestigious Royal Geelong Yacht Club (RGYC) to design and build their brand new WordPress website – a fresh online home for one of Australia’s oldest and most iconic yacht clubs.
Understanding the club’s need for a dynamic, user-friendly website, we crafted a fully responsive WordPress platform that ensures seamless navigation across all devices. Whether members and visitors are accessing the site from a desktop, tablet, or mobile phone, they can easily explore club news, event details, membership information, and sailing programs.
We were lucky to work with beautiful imagery supplied by RGYC, which really brings the site to life. The photos capture the energy of the club, the beauty of Corio Bay, and the excitement of life on the water. With a clean, modern layout, the images take center stage and tell the story of the club in a way that feels both timeless and fresh.
The result is a website that not only looks great but makes it easier for the RGYC community to stay connected – a project we’re proud to have been a part of.
